Congressman Geoff Davis statement on the passing of Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Geoff Davis made the following statement today concerning the death of U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist:
"Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist led the Supreme Court with honor, dignity and great personal strength. His conservative values and his determination to preserve states' rights will be remembered in our nation's history. He earned the respect of colleagues from all sides of the ideological spectrum.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this time."
